TrakCare Barcode Scanner
A purpose-built barcode scanning utility for doctors and healthcare workers using the NHLS TrakCare Lab system. My wife is a doctor and had issues with the lengthy login and patient search process in TrakCare — logging in, navigating to the patient search page, entering data, and searching for patient MRN numbers just to view results. Existing solutions were locked behind paywalls, so she asked me to build a free alternative. TrakCare Barcode Scanner lets medical staff scan a patient barcode, instantly copy credentials for quick login, and jump straight to patient results — saving significant time during rounds and consultations.
